• Blimps/Zeppelins: Hard outer shell with an inner microphone suspension, offering maximum wind protection for professional outdoor recording (e.g., shotgun mics). Larger and more complex.

• Pop Filters (Mesh/Metal): Primarily used in studio vocal recording to reduce plosives, placed between the singer and microphone. Not designed for wind.
